Licorice is a tonic Chinese herbal medicine. Its roots and rhizomes, the mostly frequently used parts, contain active components Glycyrrhizic acid. It exhibits anti-inflammatory effect.

Features and benefits:

Glycyrrhizic acid and its salts can inhibit the inflammation of the NF-κB signaling pathway and the signaling cascade of MARK induced by TLR-4 and TLR-9 as well the inflammations caused by other TLRs.
